we scratch our names out,
from lists,
of names and names,
we persist,
to exist outside the frame,
our spines,
our long necks crane,
unwilling,
to bend, to refrain,
acting,
is a soulless game,
one piece,
in an inside lane,
another,
tucked, ignored, insane.
